Description:

John was the most popular of the Ringling Bros. amassing a large fortune in real estate, and art. John’s first position with the show was as a clown, however after one year he became the advance man for the show. John spent most of his life routing the show, learning the roads, towns and eventually the railroad system. “Mr. John” loved the metropolitan life living in Chicago, New York and Sarasota, FL., however he presented himself as a Wisconsin hick in his business dealings.
